Food Blog: Darcy’s Place

Sorry, Jane Austen, your real Mr. Darcy isn’t a man, it’s an adorable coffee/tea/panda shop!

Darcy’s Place opened four days ago (September 8, 2013). It offers a lot: from appetizers to brekky (breakfast served with garlic bread) to sandwiches to yogurts to milkteas to Mr. Darcy’s meals to pastas to entrees to salads to bamboo teas to refreshers to concoctions to Panda flurries to smoothies… whew! That’s a total mouthful!

Though the options seemed endless, we came up with our orders:

  • Mr. Darcy’s Special Ribs for 250Php. It is good for 2-3 persons.
  • Mrs. Darcy’s Tea for 95Php.

Mr. Darcy’s Special Ribs is the bomb! I couldn’t get enough of the sauce!

With the owner, Mr. Alvin!
The place is undeniably cute! It’s the only place I know where I could munch on my food without getting freaked out by all the adorable pandas possibly staring at me. I recommend this place to anyone who would like to take a break from their messy realities and enjoy a refreshing ambiance. The place is totally convenient with its… you’ve guessed it right- free wi-fi access!
