SPE: Pork Stroganoff, Spicy Seafood Pasta, Grilled Pork Chop in Orange Sauce

There's nothing like a good place to slack and eat good food than Some Place Else "SPE" Restobar and Coffee Shop. This hidden gem in Paseo de Habana compound will give you the feel-good music that'll have you wanting to pump your fist in the air, not to mention the good food that will have your intestines wiggle with delight from the food-gasm.

Espresso ala mode
Espresso ala mode: This one is definitely dressed to impress. With the gooey caramel syrup generously flowing over the vanilla ice cream, one cannot simply resist! The rich and sweet vanilla island complements the strong flavor of the ocean of espresso surrounding it.

Choco Marble Hazelnut
Choco Marble Hazelnut: Who doesn't love chocomarble hazelnut with a pepero twig and whip cream on top? This one is absolutely a classic.

Potato Salad
Potato Salad: Ooh lala, this is the ultimate comfort food. The potatoes were soft and creamy (thanks to the delicious mayonnaise) with tidbits of onions, herbs and eggs in between!

Pork Stroganoff
Pork Stroganoff: Creamy mushroom sauce perfectly poured in soft tenderloin pork cuts with chewy onions and cucumber on the side creates a heavensent dish! SPE's Pork Stroganoff is so Tasty and Wholesome with capital T and W for emphasis!

Spicy Seafood Pasta
Spicy Seafood Pasta: I was surprised with the piquant taste of the pasta. Yep, definitely tongue-twitching spicy. The consistency of its taste, sweet, sour and spicy, had me find myself filling my plate with this dish all throughout dinner though. hehe!

Grilled Pork Chop in Orange Sauce
Grilled Pork Chop in Orange Sauce: Masarap pampulutan! Chewy pork chop blended with citrus-filled sauce made it much juicier and sweeter at every bite.

Now Open: Some Place Else Coffee Shop

Awesome news for those who can never imagine their everyday lives without caffeine flowing in their systems: there's a new coffee shop in the booming city of Davao!

Now open: Some Place Else Coffee Shop! Woohoo *happy dance*! The store opened yesterday, May 8, 2015. The warm ambiance of the place in combo with the lively music perfectly reflects the personality of the shop's beautiful proprietor, Miss Andrea "Dea" Ibañez.

See those dim lights and the uber cute interior design? The place will surely help one's nerves relax. This is the must-go-to place for those who just want to chill and socialize (to those who prefer to interact via social media, they are wi-fi ready as well).

If you want to study or prepare for your thesis whilst using your gadgets, they have many sockets sprouted from the walls, all ready to be used.

Hello there! Dea's best friend, Au, together with her boyfriend Adi, was present to support the new business! #relationshipgoalz

Here are a few of their tummy-busting dishes available for orders (PS sorry, there was an error on the focus of the Caramel Macchiato I ordered (thus the absent photo here) but, it was seriously delicious!! Kudos to the barista! Their potato salad was mouth-watering, too, that I actually did not hesitate not to take a photo first before eating the salad lol):

Congratulations, Dea!!!

Of course, the BFF barkada is almost (mia Divs and Diane) complete to support!! L-R: Yayi, Lhor, Dea, Clem, Thea, and Me!

Some Place Else Coffee Shop is finally open and happy to serve you! It is located at Paseo de Habana, JP Rizal St., adjacent to its already famous partner Some Place Else Restobar. The store opens from Four in the afternoon until Twelve midnight.

Bhajia Grilled Pizza: Great White, Pizza Overload + Nachos and Fries!

Have you guys been to Bhajia Grilled Pizza, where 99% of everything they serve is grilled and comes with pizza toppings?! You haven't been there? Go visit the store now and don't forget to invite me! haha (Oh and they also serve burgers... Ah-- if only it was allowed to be a hermit and actually live in their kitchen).

Pizza Fries and Pizza Nachos. Man, was I in heaven?  Because if not, I think I just had a taste of it. I know you see them- the generous amount of cheese, cheese and endless pizza toppings! The fries were equally soft and crunchy, and the nachos were so... well, nacho-eey(?) that adding pizza toppings to them made them extra unforgettable!

Pizza Overload. You know it. Pizza with everything the chef could think of... mostly the drool-worthy meat. Yummeeehh!

Great White Pizza. I am absolutely 100% positively going back to Bhajia for this! This is my new favorite pizza! They say this is one of the store's best-sellers too- no doubt it deserves to be on the top list! The cheese, oh oh wow, it was the bomb.... no, it was the father of all bombs!!! This pizza looked even sexier with the bacon put on top of it.

Bhajia chips. This one was a freebie from our friend Kena (whose brother is the co-owner of Bhajia Grilled Pizza). The chips tasted simple and quite familiar, but the sauce that came with it was SO good it reminded me of India (though i've never been there hahaha hihihi this is an Indian comfort food fyi) I was secretly hoping my friends were too full to finish the chips so I can have the rest to myself! *cue Mandark's evil laugh*

Bhajia's pizzas, fries, nachos and chips with a side dish of endless chikka definitely switched my tiring day into an awesome one! Food just tastes so much better when you're with your friends!
